Love the concierge level Governor’s Club. Excellent breakfast in the morning, cocktails appetizers (easy to make dinner out of) and late night desserts. Everyone in the “club” was friendly, welcoming and provided great service. Parking on site and easy in and out. This is my go-to place in Madison with a beautiful view of the state capital building from the room.

The breakfast is what really stood out for me. They had one of the best breakfast assortments of any hotel that i have been to. The had a griddle with eggs already Scrambled in a pitcher with veggies and cheese to make your own omlet. They had a waffle maker, rotary oven to toast bagles and slices of bread. They also had a machine that automatically made 2 pancakes fresh with 1 touch of a button. Fresh juices cereals and more. The room was to be expected for price range. But the breakfast was top notch.

Only thing going for it is cheap room. Staff not around, no air, no thermostat in room, no coffee for breakfast, cold ceral is only menu item. You get what you pay for.
